~ wala ata, nung grade 6 ako nagrun ako for vice pres ng school pero natalo... =)

~ no

~ si ma'am segovia, history teacher, di ako magaling sa history at pagmemorize details

~ laging may recitation

~ lakad nung grades 5 and 6 kasi lapit, nung grades 1-4, tricycle or kalesa or lakad pag walang pera =)
17. Marunong ka na bang mag-commute ng panahong ito?
~ yeah, pero pauwi lang at papasok school
18. Paano ka mag-aral?
~ di ako mahilig mag-aral pag may minememorize... otherwise, nag eenjoy ako... pano ako mag aral? di ko matandaan, promise
19. Mahilig ka bang kumain ng tusok-tusok?
~ yeah, basta mura
20. Responsible ka bang estudyante?
~ nasa top ten ako lagi except nung grade 1 (kasi nga di ako nagpreschool, di sanay mag aral)... pero i don't think i gave my best... so di ganon karesponsable.
HIGH SCHOOL:
21. Saan ka nag-high school?
~ phil women's univ nung first year, ednas school dagupan, the rest... funny name, pero sikat yon
22. anu mga section mo?
~ fortitude, purity and joy
23. May-CAT ba kayo noon?
~ yup
24. Naging officer ka ba?
~ wala, asa pa... ayoko nong paapi during cocc! feeling ko stupidity =)

~ oo

~ no... american kasi guardian ko nung second to fourth year na ako, magtatanong kung bakit ako absent

~ hay naku dami. someone called me on the phone and asked kung pwede sya dumalaw sa bahay. i asked him if he was up to something... from then on he called me pathetic and paranoid... that was embarrasing. i think nahurt ko ego nya. if i could turn back time, i would not do the same, i think.
38. Unforgettable moments?
~ 7th anniv ng vcf lb.... that's when i became a christian.
39. Pano gumalaw ang mga tao sa eskwelahan mo?
~ iba iba... pero ang uplb parang ibang mundo.

UPDATES
Back in the Phil. =) Spending time with my family and relatives...Having a great time. Bait ni God...May job offer na sa VCS... Please pray for a Big salary! Will know next week. Please, pray too for my Aunt Candeng. She's got cancer, super weak na. Her doctor doesn't want to give her a chemotherapy anymore.Please pray that she'll accept Jesus in her life. I'll see her again tomoorow. Will share the gospel to her tomorrow and this week, paulit ulit para sure. The last time I was about to, she didn't wantto hear about it.... Saddening, but God won't give up, this I'm sure... Thanks guys... =)
Bought a book... mga love letters ni former US President Reagan para sa wife na, compiled... hahahahah... cool ba? 99 pesos lang. Also got one about investments.. need to read books on investments.
Miss you all... In a few days, I'll be doing some important errands for my sister... After that, I'm free to meet up with you guys... =) April is devoted for my family and relatives... muna. Sowee, friends... Pero lapit na May. =) If I sign the contract at VCS, we'll start on May 2. Holiday ata May 1....

| PURSUIT OF FAMILYNESS "Ate, it's Joyce's last night in Bangkok. She wants her hair done. Dread locks." "Huwhat?? You sure??" It turned out that she really didn't mean dread locks... Whew! I mean, she's one of the prettiest young ladies you'll ever see! Imagine Nichole Kidman in dread locks. You can't now, can you? Hahahahah.... Don't get me wrong. I've nothing against dread locks. If you guys wanna look dreadful with a bunch of snake-looking hair on top of your smart heads and all... just go right ahead. I'll keep my mouth shut. =) So anyways, she had her hair braided instead. I don't know what you call it, but they kinda like added yarn into each set of strands and then braided the hair with the yarn. Lots of little braided sets, burned at the ends. What do u call that? Yun nga. =) I will always remember that despedida night for sure, as i will remember a lot of other things about this Chinese lady. For one, she knows how to speak Japanase..and Cantonese and Mandarin and Thai and English! Sings a lot, chews a lot, etc, etc. She's actually a member of another church here in Bangkok (am sori, forgot the name). She's a missionaries' kid. Her parents were missionaries in Japan, Malaysia, and are now in Thailand. I didn't really get to spend much time with her while she was in Thailand, but she was obviously passionate about God and missions. And being Into missions that I am, I was curious to know... so I asked. "Your parents raised you well. They're into missions, and you are too. I mean, you love what they do... Aside from praying for you, what else did they do?" Her simple answer came, "To my parents..family always comes first." She went on to explain... And it struck me. Even now... because I've set an appointment with my Christian and nonChristian friends in the Philippines.... but my sister would "prefer it if you'd come with us" during the holy week vacation. Just today, I realized how much my family comes first... It took me nearly 10 minutes to give her a final yes. A sister who realizes that she's been gone for nearly 1.5 years and is terribly missed by her family shouldn't take 10 minutes to think it over. She doesn't have to do any thinking at all, does she? In truth, I planned to spend a week with my family (right after I get back to the Phil) before I hang out with others. But it would have helped wake me up if I was told, "Been a long time.. We missed you. Won't you and your friends take a raincheck and you come with us instead?" (That is, Ate May with hubby and Ate Donna with bf)... (Oks sana, pasweety effect, hehe) Just the same.. I need to change. Family comes first. Thanks Miss Joyce. =) | | |
